This website is part of a collaboration of web sites coordinated by the Association committee to provide a more interactive experience for our members and guests. The association Wiki is an interactive place where stories, memories, photographs and video can be shared. A Wiki is softwar that allows users to create, edit, and link web pages easily.
Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites like the HMS Ardent Association's. One of the best known wikis is Wikipedia and they already have a feature on HMS Ardent that can be viewed here as an example .
The aim of the HMS Ardent Assocation Wiki is to capture memories of the ship and its crew so future generations can read about us and therefore keep our history, and name alive in remembrance of our lost shipmates . In particular we want to collect stories and memories about Ardent before the Falklands War and you don't have to be an association member to access this area of the website.
