About the HMS Ardent Association

This is the older Association website which is currentley being transffered to a new site.

All links work but some data may be out of date, the target date for the transfer to be complete is May 2013.

The association was set up immediately after the 1982 Falklands Conflict in a hope to foster and promote the name HMS Ardent and provide a focal point to remember our fallen crewmates. This was achieved for twenty years through the hard work of Len Yeatman and Tony Ray.

In 2002 the running of the association was handed over to a new team who continue to promote and run the HMS Ardent Association:

Membership is open to all ex-Ardents, the friends and families of the fallen.
This site, our newsletters and the running of the Association is funded by
a small annual fee which is currently £10. For more information please
