Recently a Royal Navy Survey Unit visiting the Falklands deployed a team of RN diver who placed a new White Ensign on the wreck of HMS Ardent in Falklands Sound. The diving conditions were not very good but the team were able to capture this image of the wreck of HMS Ardent using multi-beam echo sounders. The unit also held a ‘very moving service of remembrance over the ARDENT, which was attended by the whole ship’s company’.
